Shipping & Returns

Returns Policy

You may return new, unopened items within 365 days of delivery for a full refund. It is your
responsibility to arrange, pay for, and ship it back to us. Of course, we'll cover the shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item, etc.). Opened items are not return-able. If an opened item is damaged, see "damages" section below for information.

If you wish to return an item after 365 days of its delivery, at our discretion, we may accept the return as long as it is not a discontinued item. If we elect to accept a return after 365 days of delivery, we will give a refund minus a 20% restocking fee

We will credit your original method of payment within 2 business days of receiving your return item(s). After your credit card or payment processor receives the credit, it may be an additional 1-2 business days before the refund posts to your account.

If you need to return an item, simply log in to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. You will need to coordinate and pay for the shipping back to us. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item(s).

Shipping

We ship in the U.S.A. to the lower 48 states only.

Both on the product pages and while completing an order, we will give the estimated shipping date(s) for you based on the availability of your item(s).

We ship most orders within 1-2 business days of the receipt of your order. For orders under 150 lbs., we typically ship via UPS. For orders over 150 lbs., we typically ship via an LTL truck carrier (i.e. UPS Freight, Estes-Express, etc.). Most UPS orders take between 1-5 business days of transit time, while most LTL truck orders take between 2-6 business days of transit time.

LTL orders (those too large to ship via UPS) include free tailgate delivery (LTL carrier will bring the product to the back of their trailer). You are responsible to unload and have extra help to unload if needed. Lift gate service (trucking company lowers your items to the ground) and first threshold service (LTL carrier brings items to your front door) may be available for an extra fee, fee varies by specific LTL carrier.

LTL deliveries typically occur on weekdays between the hours of 8 am-5 pm but vary by carrier. For residential shipments, the LTL carrier will call to set up a delivery day and time window. If you are not home during the date and time window you arrange with the carrier, an additional re-delivery fee may apply (varies by LTL carrier). Additionally, if the LTL carrier makes multiple, repeated attempts to contact you for scheduling and does not hear back from you, it may send the shipment back to us. We will treat that order as a customer return, and return policy outlined herein will apply.

For commercial deliveries, delivery will be made during normal business hours and often no appointment will be made in advance.

Damages

If an item arrives damaged, please refuse the delivery. If damage is not discovered until after you have opened the packaging, we will contact the manufacturer who will send out either replacement parts or a complete new unit, at the manufacturer's discretion.

For Sauder items: If you need any replacement parts after your item is opened, during construction, or after use -- don't worry. All Sauder items are covered by warranty, most for five years. Just call Sauder's dedicated customer service line at 1-800-523-3987 or visit www.sauder.com to have warranty replacement parts immediately shipped to your door, free of charge.

Cancellations

If you wish to cancel your order, email (info@jconradfurniture.com) or call us immediately so we can stop the warehouse from shipping. If the order has already been loaded or shipped, we can often return the shipment while in transit, but an outbound shipping charge would apply. Still, it would be less of a charge than if it ships all the way to you.
