Shipping and Returns
You may return new, unopened items within 365 days of delivery for a full refund. It is your responsibility to arrange, pay for, and ship it back to us. Of course, we'll cover the shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect item, etc.). If an opened item is damaged, see "damages" section below for information.
If you wish to return an item after 365 days of its delivery, at our discretion, we may accept the return as long as it is not a discontinued item. If we elect to accept a return after 365 days of delivery, we will give a refund minus a 20% restocking fee.
We will credit your original method of payment within 2 business days of receiving your return item(s). After your credit card or payment processor receives the credit, it may be an additional 1-2 business days before the refund posts to your account.
If you need to return an item, simply log in to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item(s).
We ship in the U.S.A. to the lower 48 states only.
Both on the product pages and while completing an order, we will give the estimated shipping date(s) for you based on the availability of your item(s).
We ship most orders within 1-2 business days of the receipt of your order. For orders under 150 lbs., we typically ship via UPS. For orders over 150 lbs., we typically ship via an LTL truck carrier (i.e. UPS Freight, Estes-Express, etc.). Most UPS orders take between 1-5 business days of transit time, while most LTL truck orders take between 2-6 business days of transit time.
LTL orders (those too large to ship via UPS) include free tailgate delivery (LTL carrier will bring the product to the back of their trailer). You are responsible to unload and have extra help to unload if needed. Lift gate service (trucking company lowers your items to the ground) and first threshold service (LTL carrier brings items to your front door) may be available for an extra fee, fee varies by specific LTL carrier.
LTL deliveries typically occur on weekdays between the hours of 8 am-5 pm but vary by carrier. For residential shipments, the LTL carrier will call to set up a delivery day and time window. If you are not home during the date and time window you arrange with the carrier, an additional re-delivery fee may apply (varies by LTL carrier). Additionally, if the LTL carrier makes multiple, repeated attempts to contact you for scheduling and does not hear back from you, it may send the shipment back to us. We will treat that order as a customer return, and return policy outlined herein will apply.
For commercial LTL deliveries, delivery will be made during normal business hours and often no appointment will be made in advance.
If an item arrives damaged, please refuse the delivery. If damage is not discovered until after you have opened the packaging, we will contact the manufacturer who will send out either replacement parts or a complete new unit, at the manufacturer's discretion.
For Sauder items: If you need any replacement parts after your item is opened, during construction, or after use -- don't worry. All Sauder items are covered by warranty, most for five years. Just call Sauder's dedicated customer service line at 1-800-523-3987 or visit www.sauder.com to have warranty replacement parts immediately shipped to your door, free of charge.
If you wish to cancel your order, email (email@example.com) or call us immediately so we can stop the warehouse from shipping. If the order has already been loaded or shipped, we can often return the shipment while in transit, but an outbound shipping charge would apply. Still, it would be less of a charge than if it ships all the way to you.
We at J.Conrad Furniture try to keep our prices as low as possible. All website prices are priced as-is. Shipping is calculated at the checkout page; if free shipping is currently being offered, it will be shown as a "free shipping" option.
If you find a price lower than ours, let us know and we'll do our best to match or beat it (click on the "contact us" link at the bottom of our website, or email firstname.lastname@example.org and give us the info.
What information do we collect?
When you visit JConradFurniture.com, we collect Personal Information transmitted by your computer, mobile phone or other access device. This information includes data on the pages you visit, your computer IP address, mobile device identifiers, the type of operating system you’re using, standard internet logging data and other information. Internet log data includes the type of browser you’re using and visits to and from our Site.
In addition, when you open a customer account, we will collect the following: contact information, such as your name, address, phone, email, company name and other similar information. When you input your financial information, such as credit card numbers, that information is passed directly to the financial institution. We collect the information but do not save it on any of our servers.
We also collect information from or about you in other ways, such as through contact with our customer support team, results when you respond to a survey and from interactions.
We do not consider Personal Information to include information that is anonymous or that we have made anonymous so that it cannot be used to identify an individual customer and does not contain other information that would allow us or others to identify you (“Anonymous Information”).
We will never sell your information to outside parties.
How do we use your information?
Our primary purpose in collecting Personal Information is to provide you with a secure, smooth, efficient, and customized shopping or customer support experience. We may use your Personal Information to:
- provide customer support;
- resolve disputes, collect payments, and troubleshoot problems;
- prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities;
- customize, measure, and improve our website’s content, layout, and operation;
- deliver targeted marketing, service update notices, and promotional offers based on your communication preferences;
- contact you by phone, via email, or social networks;
- compare information for accuracy and verify it with third parties.
How do we share your information?
We may share your Personal Information with:
- Service providers under contract who help with our business operations in areas such as fraud prevention, bill collection, marketing, and technology services. Our agreements specify that these service providers only use your Personal Information in connection with the services they provide to us and not for their own benefit.
- J.Conrad Furniture will not sell or rent any of your Personal Information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your consent and only shares your Personal Information with third parties as described in this policy.
- We may share Anonymous Information with our customers or other third parties to provide information for analytics, website usage or for other retail purposes.
- Again, we will never sell your information to outside parties.
